Having been a type 2 diabetic for 15 years, I was amused to find that my last choleteral B/test came back the lowest it has ever been.
Why amused? For years we have been told that eggs and bacon are not good for cholesteral. Now, 4 months ago I started the low carb diet and have had nothing but eggs and bacon for breakfast. Someone please explain!

Hello Brian Welcome. Seems strange doesn't it but a lot of people on here have found that LCHF (low carb high fat) works well on the BGs , Cholesterol and weight.

Hi Brian. I am on a LCHF diet and have reduced my cholesterol from 7.3 to 6.2 in 3 months. Fat does not add to our cholesterol. Carbs are the problem. Maybe one day the medical profession will catch up & realise the truth.

We were sold a sick puppy in 1970 with the low fat high carb. It's taken the internet to turn it around. we just have to wait now, untill our dietitians catch up.
