Hi - can anyone help fairly quickly today? sorry short notice.
I have been sent a recipe by Rick Gallop (yes the man himself) for Chocolate cake, and i have all the ingredients except buttermilk. Can I use normal milk instead? I want to make this cake for this afternoon if possible.🙂

Use normal milk and a tsp of lemon juice or 1/2 tsp cream of tartare that should do it.

Fantastic - thanks for the quick reply David. Will save a slice for you.🙂

Its low Gi - does that help?

Being a Coeliac & a type 2 is a double whammy!

I can't eat Gluten (Wheat,Rye, Barley, Oats,Spelt etc)
I have to use Rice flour, potato starch, tapioca starch, corn starch etc etc all high carb content ....
.
I do make some pretty mean stuff though, everything in moderation.
