Oh Crikey Casper, how the heck did you manage that? 😱 Hope you feel better soon.

You have my sympathy Casper as I did the same thing two years ago. Sitting around can get a bit boring very quickly. I even wanted to get back to work! I hope you mend fast. 🙂

Sorry to hear that Casper. Hope it heals quickly and not too painful. How did you break it?

Thanks for all the good wishes folks🙂

Broke it whilst walking down the pavement, 'rolled' my ankle, possibly uneven pavement, got home and it started to swell, was EXTREMELY painful, so off to a & e first thing in morning. X-rays, and diagnosis of an 'avulsion fracture' where the ligaments have been stretched so hard they pull off a piece of bone.

No cast, elastic bandage, rest and more rest. Doc said up to 6 weeks for bone to heal properly, but torn ligaments may take up to 6 months. Soooooo annoying!
