managed to get burgen soya & linseed bread 1 slice is 13.0 carbs 2.0 sugar, warburtons wholemeal no added sugar is 1 slice 9.0 carbs & 0.6 sugar now im confused which is best as burgen bread seems to be the most recommended & i bought a milk roll for my mum who is non diabetic that has 8.3 carbs per slice & 0.7 sugar .which one of these is best thanks

As we all tolerate different amounts of carbs nobody can tell you which will be kinder on your BG, Burgen can be gentler because if the seeds slowing absorption for instance, the wholemeal are smaller slices than the Burgen hence why they are lower carb and I assume the milk roll slices will also be smaller slices

To see which one suits you best you would need to test before eating and then again 2 hours after to see what effect they had on your BG xx
