Having watched Dragons Den repeat the other night, and investigated I found that Morrissons sels the BareNakedFood Noodles so decided to try them. Chicken Stir Fry with bamboo shoots and beansprouts and black bean sauce. Was quite nice but it was hard to tell the difference between the noodles and the beansprouts.

Shall see what by bedtime reading is.

Well they didn't stop me wanting to have an evening snack and so morning reading wasn't anything great. No point in taking a reading at bedtime as I ate a satsuma.

They are on special at Morrisons (sorry can't remember price) but Holland and Barrett sell them for £2.99 per packet (feeds 2) so yes expensive, or £24.50 for 10 packets direct.

<crosses them off shopping list/> 😉

Had the same basic stir fry tonight using Morrisons Udon Noodles, much, much nicer and only £1 for packet for 2. However According to the list of ingredients it contains Tapioca flour which is high in carbs and low in fat and sugar and protein and nutrients and fibre (sounds like a lose lose food).

Bared Naked Noodles - I think that would be an excellent name for a rock band:D

Survived the Udon Noodles ok, but I don't seem to have a problem with Pasta of any kind.

Get vietnamese udon with tapioca,
not japanese udon with wheat

Bare naked noodles need to be rinsed IMHO. They have an odd taste if you don't do this. Then the don't taste of anything. Have tried them and the pasta but not repeated either and I thought that they were expensive and not particularly nice. 🙂
