Went into Tesco. They are selling off large runs of Heroes and Fruit Pastilles for £2 a tub! And I can't have any!😡

My local Nisa, whilst pretty good on the whole, always tries the chocolate hard sell every time you get to the checkout. Usually I just decline, but last night I found myself telling them I was diabetic. Don't usually like doing stuff like that but it was getting a bit annoying. They did apologise. Maybe they'll stop trying to sell me chocolate now? Maybe I was a bit of an ********? After all, it's not their fault, they're told to do it by the owner/manager

They never do a hard sell of healthy veg, do they!

Is there any Christmas pudding you could pick up for me?

Just realised my original post should've said tins, not runs😎. I do part time hospital transport work for Addenbrookes hospital. Whenever I go into the shop there, they try to flog chocolate to me. Haven't been there since diagnosed so next tie they ask I will let them know 🙂.

You're virtually my neighbour :D

Whatever you do don't go anywhere near diabetic chocolate. 😱

Heard plenty of bad reports concerning diabetic chocolate. Don't know how they can keep selling it

I done't remember seeing any diabetic products for 36 years!

Is Tescos selling cheap tins of Heroes, clearance of Christmas stock or a tribute to David Bowie? 😎:D

Yeah. I'm annoyed as Asda. When I go down the gluten free isle, they have a basket type thing filled with normal gluten biscuits (at half the price of gluten free) right in front of the gluten free ones. I miss my gluten filled digestives. The gluten free ones just aren't as good. 😉

Have you tried Tesco Free From Ginger Cookies? I ate them while having to be ' free from' and still eat them occasionally as they're really good (for everything apart from my blood sugar, that is :D)

Sound nice🙂. Once I hit my BS goal, maybe will try some.

I'll give them a go. I hardly eat buscuits but sometimes you just want a treat 🙂
