Who is using alcohol wipes for applying their freestyle libre?

I am for the moment. I've only ever used one of the two supplied so I have a bunch left over. I think when they run out I probably won't bother and just keep with soap and water.

Isn’t everyone using the supplied wipes? That’s all that’s needed, if anything is. Soap and water is fine as long as the site is fully dry. Nurses, I’ve noticed, don’t bother using either when taking blood samples.

I use the wipe for adhesion rather than cleanliness

I always insert a new sensor straight out of the shower so never both with the wipes.
If Abbott are now stopping including them in the box, they can’t be that important.

I'm the same as @Bruce Stephens. I have a small stash of spares and will use up what I have and then probably not bother and just apply once my skin has dried after a good scrub in the shower.

I use both wipes to aid adhesion as I to apply mine at night or rather in the early hours when I go to bed and I don’t shower then.

Always use wipes as helps with adhesion, will still use them after skinflints stop supplying them with sensor.
