A weeny bit of good news!

My DSN has been on touch, Medtronic are bringing a new pump out in June, an upgrade from the Paradigm called the VEO. She saw it yesterday and is very impressed. It is the VEO she will order me, and I will start on 1st July now (I can wait a couple more days I suppose!). Only 5 people in Europe are on the VEO and I will be number 6 (can I get in the guiness book of records for this?!).

Apparently, the VEO has a new feature that when used with CGM and your sugar goes low it will automatically shut off. And thats the buzz on this new pump.

Just thought I would drop this in for anyone interested on pumps! The technology just keeps improving.....

nah I dont think so, and to honest Im not bonkers about CGM as well. DSN was very excited to announce "and it even comes in pink"!!! Errr.....great! Think I will stick stick to my original choice of clear.

I wish i could check it out online. This is the only thing on google, and the pdf wont open, only the html and thats without pictures, so have written to medtronic to request a brochure ....

Thanks all, I cant wait. Apparently, says my DSN the info isnt actually available yet so I will have to learn the art of patience....and settle for changing my signature instead 😉
